## Customer Reviews

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Completely fixed my Comcast connectivity problem!
*by G***Y on January 18, 2013*

I'm a happy Comcast customer in a new construction home with a builder-grade signal distribution panel. Most of the time, everything worked - other than OnDemand. That didn't ever work. I'd call Comcast and they would get it working, but, invariably, the next day, it would stop working. They, really, tried hard to get it working. I suspected all along that it was my distribution panel and the wiring.Well, I plugged this thing in, rebooted both of my cable boxes and everything works - 100% of the time, for about a month, now - OnDemand works, all the channels, my phone, the Internet (getting 22Mbps through this device).I'd, previously, tried the Motorola amplifier - Motorola Signal Booster 2-Port BDA-S2 Cable Modem TV HDTV Amplifier - and, it didn't solve the problem. The installation was a snap. There's an input port for the incoming coax signal; there's a coax power connector - the unit, here, includes a power supply with a coax connector, but does not include the coax cable to connect the power supply to the signal distribution amplifier. So, be prepared to have an extra piece of coax long enough to go from an outlet to where you're going to place this amplifier. Then, you just connect the output coax ports to the cables that connect to the other signal destinations. Easy peasy ... too me about 5 minutes to install, since I already had the extra piece of coax for power.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ TV service worked fine but the phone and internet would occasionally fail
*by T***S on August 23, 2014*

My problem was a little different from most of the reviews I read. I have digital cable broadband service that includes TV-PHONE-INTERNET. The phone and internet modem is a combined modem that is inside on my computer desk. TV service worked fine but the phone and internet would occasionally fail. Sometimes it would fail once a week, sometimes once a day and at other times 4 or 5 times a day. Most of the time the modem would go through a reset sequence and both the phone and internet would come back up in about 1 minute. When the failures occurred service was interrupted for both. The cable company checked the signal and claimed they did not see a problem. Since there were 2 splitters on the incoming cable to feed all of the outlets in the house I wondered if the signal strength was low. I ordered this drop amplifier which allowed me to removed the splitters and feed all of the outlets in the house. This seems to be working for me and there have not been any failures over the past 2 weeks. TV, PHONE and INTERNET all have been working fine.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Electroline Amp Works Great
*by R***T on July 16, 2013*

I have been been using the Electroline EDA-UG2802 for a little over a month. I purchased the 8 port model but I am only using four of the ports currently, 2 on HD and 2 on standard digital boxes. FYI... any unused ports on the amp or wall jacks in your home should have 75 ohm termination caps installed. If you are having high speed Internet issues here are my recommendations. 1. You CANNOT connect your cable modem to a port from this amp. You need a bi-directional splitter, connect one output to the amp the other output to your cable modem. 2. If you are having intermittent Internet connection issues make sure all the coax wiring is RG-6 cable. Especially the cable coming from the street to your home. The RG-6 is rated for digital communication signals. Makes a huge difference in available signal strength.
