I didn't register the effect it had on my ends until after I'd used about 3-4 times, and then bam! my ends now feel smoother and silkier and bizarrely enough the end of my ponytail feels thicker too. My grey shines and also feels very soft, and my ends don't catch at the end of the brush as it slides through it. I suspect this is because my ends aren't breaking off as easily and the friction from my hairbands are not getting to do as much damage as before because of this leave-in (I don't know, I'm not a hair scientist). What I do know, is my hair feels tremendous, it brushes out without tangles or knots, and it feels like it's in fabulous condition. The smell is also so light and fresh, like others have stated a salon smell, but nothing overpowering and doesn't interfere with perfume etc. also the scent doesn't change over time, especially if I happen to be lazy and not wash it for 3-4 days. A little bit also goes a long way, pretty much like olaplex 3, an amount the size of 20p piece, and it covers my long hair quite well. Now this isn't a cheap product, but given the change it has made to my hair I feel it's worth the spend. I will in future look out for desertcart price drops on it.
