Perfect cut French fries and regular chips in seconds. Reason for me buying this is that there is a diabetic and someone with a wheat allergy in the house. Almost all factory made chips are not edible for this house. Good machine if you want good clean vegetables cut into chips fast that are all the same shape and size for cooking. Positives: Cuts fast. Potato to chip in seconds. Very happy! Negatives: fiddly to remove the blades for changing the blade size or cleaning. The small washers are too easy to drop and loose. The butterfly nuts are better but even these I’ve dropped on the floor twice already. Blades are very sharp, careful not to cut fingers when cleaning. You need to get to know how your machine assembles, do not over tighten the retaining nuts if the metal guard plates are improperly installed.
