Review: Take your time !! - The tank rehab kit is from POR15. I read the instructions about 4 times and watched some YouTube videos. I followed the instructions meticulously. If I made a mistake maybe I did not slosh the final coating around long enough. I did roll it around thoroughly for a 1/2 hour but some areas look to have a thinner coating than others. Granted it is hard to see in there. The instructions did not specify a time for the final coat. Also it would be nice to know when it’s going to start to thicken. I thought I had 30 min to an hour but in reality it was about 2 1/2 hours before the final coating started to thicken. Had I known that I would have kept rolling it around in there for a full hour or so before draining off the excess. However, I am happy with the product and I’m sure it will work out ok. Also I have a jerry can to do and I should have done both at the same time. I could easily have poured the chemicals from one tank to the next and done both with the one kit, but unfortunately that did not occur to me at the time. There was a lot of the coating left (2/3) over when I poured out the excess. Review: Worth Every Penny for Classic Vehicle Restoration ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ - ★★★★★ Saved My Fuel Tank and Saved Me a Lot of Money I used this POR-15 Fuel Tank Repair Kit on the fuel tank of my classic truck, and I couldn't be happier with the results. The tank had several leaks. I even took it to a welder and had every hole we could find patched, but it still leaked. It seemed like every time we fixed one spot, another problem showed up. This kit turned out to be the answer. After following the instructions and coating the inside of the tank, it was like having a brand-new fuel tank. The coating sealed everything up, and the tank has performed flawlessly since. I was impressed by how thorough the process was and how durable the finished coating appears to be. Considering the cost of replacing a hard-to-find classic vehicle fuel tank, this product was worth every penny. If you're fighting leaks in an older fuel tank, don't give up until you've tried this. It worked when welding alone couldn't solve the problem. Highly recommended! ## Features - manufacturer: POR-15 - Item Trademark: POR-15 - Item Weight: pounds, pounds, 1., 1. - Item Category: Auto Accessory ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B000H9K4K0 | | Best Sellers Rank | #130,682 in Automotive ( See Top 100 in Automotive ) #43 in Car Fuel Tanks | | Brand | POR-15 | | Brand Name | POR-15 | | Capacity | 1 quarts | | Compatible with Vehicle Type | Vehicle with Metal Fuel Tank | | Customer Reviews | 4.5 out of 5 stars 506 Reviews | | Exterior Finish | Silver | | Exterior finish | Silver | | Fit Type | Universal | | Fuel Type | Gasoline | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00051491492393 | | Item Dimensions | 10 x 10 x 10.5 centimeters | | Item Weight | 1 Pounds | | Item dimensions L x W x H | 10 x 10 x 10.5 centimeters | | Item weight | 1 Pounds | | Manufacturer Part Number | 49239 | | Material | Metal | | Material Type | Metal | | Model Number | 49239 | | OEM Equivalent Part Number | Consumer Commodity, ORM-D | | Product Grade | Replacement Part | | UPC | 051491492393 | | Vehicle service type | Vehicle with Metal Fuel Tank | ## Product Details - **Brand:** POR-15 - **Exterior finish:** Silver - **Item dimensions L x W x H:** 10 x 10 x 10.5 centimeters - **Material:** Metal - **Vehicle service type:** Vehicle with Metal Fuel Tank ## Images ![POR-15 49239 Auto Fuel Tank Repair Kit - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81JYU186LNL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Take your time !! *by J***D on 24 September 2020* The tank rehab kit is from POR15.
