The lid is easy to slide open but the magnet keeps the lid firm enough that there won't be any escape-attempts made by my T's. The entire thing is also transparent except for the bottom piece (Which is white), but I don't mind it since it blends it great with the white shelf it's now placed on!Both enclosures were delivered pre-made so there was no assembly required. I practically opened the box, put substrate in along with a water dish/small hide and it was all set for their re-housing!
