I have two of these fans and they lasted three grows, so about twelve months of constant use. Yes the knob is cheap and yes the unit blows to hard unless you are growing in a 4000 watt enviorment or larger. My second unit came with opened packaging and missing part... never been so mad. Why did I buy a second unit, for ease of hanging as I already had hanging bracket to work with my condishions. Will not be lazy again. Cheap loud and quick to die. ### ⭐⭐⭐ A few things *by R***H on January 3, 2014* I like the design, it's very easy to use, and mounting is a cinch. It seems solid and well built. However........ even the low setting is much too high, so you really have high, higher, and cyclone. The other issues are it's just dang noisy, mainly from running too fast, but it orbital mode, the plastic creaks and shudders as it goes through the oscillation. The plastic knob holding the angle of the fan feels cheap, and the way the chord is threaded through the fan hinge makes adjusting it awkward, at best.
