I use a buffing mitt but I find it cumbersome on my face, on the neck it's ok but it still can sometimes develop unevenly if you're not super careful. I found the brush to be really dense and it felt like decent quality and sat well in my hand. Due to the density of the bristles it didn't splay out like a normal makeup brush (which I've also tried).. as for contouring I'm not so sure, it just seems too bulky for that.. maybe I'll try it (when I don't intend on leaving the house . Just incase!) Id recommend it, it really does make the tab more evenly blended. I tend to use foam tans, it was easier to apply a little foam to the face, then blend, otherwise it could fall off the brush if put there directly.
