My case was a difficult one since I was sensitive to almost all supplements before I was prescribed Cymbalta. So I was very cautious to begin with. Because of the constant guidance from the Road Back team, I was able to wean off Cymbalta completely within 6 months. I realize the same things won't work for everyone, but it might be worth a try given the long term effects of psychoactive medication. 6 months after completely weaning off Cymbalta and still going strong, I consider it a miracle that the Road Back actually worked. I still take some of these supplements including Body Calm, Neuro Endure and JNK. **Q: why not buy these ingredients separately?** A: I wouldn't know where to buy all of these ingredients and/or get the right blend of them to achieve my goal..also, I think it may cost more to buy them individually. My husband uses this product. It worked great for him!! **Q: Been having a bad reaction to weaning off and stopping Cymbalta. Would this really help me?? How???** A: I cannot truthfully say whether or not the supplements (I used several of the products) were helpful. I was able to stop Wellbutrin and Celexa but when I started to taper my third med, Lamictal, I crashed. I recently read an effective taper rate rule of thumb is 10% a week. I am tempted to think the supplements are not that helpful and, as I recall, the instructions were very complicated. I did email the company and received a very rapid response but by that time I had to resume taking my meds. For some people, Clonazepam is much bigger then an over the counter help, and you may need an anti-depressant to help wean you off. I tapered super super slowly over many months and wish I had known about this Neuro Endure Mini. It might have helped, but honestly would have been too tame for me. I used this when I was tapering from a small dose of Seroquel, which I was taking for sleep. Mostly it calmed my anxiety and allowed me to refocus. It worked for me. *by K***R on March 29, 2016* I tried to withdraw from Citalopram (Celexa) and had disastrous side effects, and ultimately went back on. All the reasons for needing an anti-depressant/focus medication were gone, yet I couldn't get off the drug. Suicidal thoughts, crying jags, deep depression and more hit when trying to 'taper'. I simply did not want to continue pumping more drugs into my system after being on them for 7 years. I found the Road Back program, ordered all the supplements and took them religiously. I had already started to taper when I found the program, so dove straight in to controlling the side effects via the supplements. IMMEDIATE relief began. I had the worst time with the 'zapping' spacey head feelings. Those subsided, and the afternoon anxiety spike was handled by the program's supplements. I put reminders into my phone so that I faithfully took what I was supposed to and when. I've had to adjust to normal emotions. "Oh, those tears are legitimate, not a crying jag", as an example. After years of being numbed out, I'm relearning what are 'real' feelings, and how to deal with them vs. popping a pill. Less than 45 days later, I'm symptom free and do not have to take the full range of supplements. I'm choosing to continue maintenance doses, as my energy level and general outlook are much improved when my body is getting the things it needs to function. Before shooting this down as 'junk science', try it. Follow the program carefully.
