Review: A trifle disappointed with appearance however contains all equipment required - As a Christmas present the cross stitch beginner’s is a little disappointing. Every thing is provided but as loose pieces. I was expecting to receive the gift in a case of some sort. The embroidery rings are perhaps a little small and fairly cheap looking. I think perhaps as a very basic starter kit to see if the child would enjoy embroidery it is OK but for any child who has a little prior experience they may be disappointed. Age range is about right and having the 2 embroidery rings Mum could teach the child easily. Instruction leaflet was a little sparse as well.

**Q: What count is the cloth?**
A: The cloth of this cross stitch kit is 14 count.

**Q: Kit arrived with zero instructions...nothing about how to finish the items.  how do i obtain that information?**
A: When finished with the stitching, I frame it in the rings I sewed it on or go to a craft store or online to get a small frame.  Use the frame to hold the project, I trim the extra fabric away and secure the frame to hold the project.  You can finish the trimmed edges with glue (craft or even school glue) if desired so it doesn't fray, but the is it!

**Q: Instructions state 6 strands need to be divided into 3. Is that 3 sets of 2 strands or 2 sets of 3 strands?  Do I stitch with 2 or 3 strands?**
A: It means divide into 2 sets of 3 strands, sittch with 3 strands.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great beginner project

These patterns are easy to work with as they are printed, so no counting involved. Took a bit of time to get used to the 3 thread count as most other kits use 2 but Great kit to get you started and build you confidence. Hoops are a nice addition but not necessary in my opinion as the print runs close to the edge which sometimes makes it tricky
