I am mixed and my hair has the curl and color from my dad and the thickness and weight from my mom. For years I relaxed my hair until I finally had to stop because there was no more growth. Going natural after 20 years was tough especially with mixed hair. Products for African hair are always too heavy and weigh my curls down. They also leave my scalp greasy enough to get acne. Products for Caucasian hair are too light so the definition disappeared halfway through the day. They also dried my hair and scalp out and left my curls crispy. I tried Miss Jessie’s hoping to find a product that would work for my hair. And boy did I! My curls are defined throughout the day without being weighed down. For the the first time in 50 years I LIKE my hair!!! And the best part is there are different types of product to use so if one doesn’t fit exactly right another will. Or if I want my hair styled a little different I use a different product. This maybe normal for some ppl but it is very new to me and I’m loving this!I have also shared this brand with other ppl I know with curly hair.
