Review: For the first time since the onset of Rheumatoid Arthritis symptoms and my subsequent diagnosis, I have indirectly met someone (the author) who truly understands what it feels like to live with this disease. One of the opening statements is “I’m sick and tired of always feeling sick and tired” which is exactly how I feel. There is also a huge amount of recognition and focus on the feeling of extreme fatigue, which in my experience is overlooked by healthcare professionals. So if you have been diagnosed with RA, I highly recommend this book. It’s brilliant. Let food be thy medicine… (And after dropping foods with sugars ending in “ose” I think I already feel better than before).

For the first time since the onset of Rheumatoid Arthritis symptoms and my subsequent diagnosis, I have indirectly met someone (the author) who truly understands what it feels like to live with this disease. One of the opening statements is “I’m sick and tired of always feeling sick and tired” which is exactly how I feel. There is also a huge amount of recognition and focus on the feeling of extreme fatigue, which in my experience is overlooked by healthcare professionals. So if you have been diagnosed with RA, I highly recommend this book. It’s brilliant. Let food be thy medicine… (And after dropping foods with sugars ending in “ose” I think I already feel better than before).
