It has several great qualities: substantial size, robot's voice is a wonderful kid friendly voice, extremely diverse in tasks and speech, aesthetically appealing, made to last /sturdy ,long lasting battery, just pain fun for any child who likes to make commands and see them happen. How refreshing for all children who are constantly being told what to do and having no choice but to follow orders. Especially fun for children who love robots, love to play with remotes or love to give orders! Think that this includes most all children. On the downside it is a bit noisy for adults in same room and though you can turn down the volume ( not user friendly to do) you can't turn sound off or at least we couldn't figure out how. We could not get volume real real low either. Every time it turns off it automatically goes back to 'loud'. Too loud for children? Absolutely not! Perfect if they have their own play space.
