They are far better than the ones their competitor puts on the market. They are water-soluble and the pigments are so outstanding. I am using these bars not only in Adult Coloring books but also in Mixed Media art as well. Derwent is known for quality. I have purchased many products from them and will continue to do so. So far, I have not found a product I dislike. ### ⭐ 1.0 out of 5 stars don't like them!! *by L***U on Reviewed in the United States on March 30, 2015* I really don't like these. They were recommended by a friend, but I don't know why she liked them. They break easily, the colors are either too dark or too light. They are not as watersoluabe as they claim to be and look crappy. They're thin and washed out looking, as well as being splotchy. They act a lot like Derwent watercolor pencils which I also dislike. I'm sorry I wasted my money on them. ### ⭐⭐ 2.0 out of 5 stars Very Disappointed in this item *by C***E on Reviewed in the United States on February 23, 2015* Very Disappointed in this item. the colors are too waxy that they don't blend well at all. I purchased to use instead of water colors but the washes are not at all what i thought they would be. I wish i had instead spent the money on the Caran D Arche set.. clear and bright and perfect when used with water. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/2875995-derwent-art-supplies-artbar-water-soluable-bars-creamy-vivid-wax](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/2875995-derwent-art-supplies-artbar-water-soluable-bars-creamy-vivid-wax) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-11-05*
