It does a great job of explaining the what, who, how and why of cupping. I had no idea there were so many variants on how to do cupping, but just like anything there sure is. I love learning about the different ways to do it and why each way is most impactful for you or what you're trying to achieve. I was pleasently surprised to find visuals that accompanied many different parts of the book. Though, to be honest, I don't know if the visuals where helpful to keep going or a deterrent lol. I probably would have left ou t the bleeding cupping visual, but that's just me. This book does a great job of giving play by play on different types of cupping and what each type i good for. I don't think I will necessarily try it by myself, but you certainly cacn with all the information. I do feel like i have a major idea on what will work and what wouldn't work for me. I love knowing the why and how when it comes to alternative medicines and this book certainly does a great job of getting that information out there.
