It's very easy to remove them once installed **Q: Pictures don't show the back side of the bracket. Do the brackets allow access to the ethernet port on the back of the speakers?** A: I have the Sonos Play 1 mounted on it and yes there is a square hole just below the mount that allows access to the ethernet port. **Q: Will these work with yamaha ns-b40 speakers? they go with the yamaha yht-4930ubl home theater system.** A: Work fine with Sonos speakers, but have no idea about Yamaha. **Q: What's the diameter of the notch? I'm trying to feed my wire thriugh it and into the drywall to bury it and want to cover it with a grommet.** A: If I understand your question, I encourage you to check with your local building codes. The old mounts had failed, so I took a chance on these - even though they were very inexpensive. I thought they would be cheap, but they are just perfect for my application. All hardware included.
