This excellent Bible has helped me understand the meaning of our Lord like never before. The simple words in the brackets doesn’t change the stories but helps the reader understand what’s being said. The font is the perfect size for studying. I will say with all the extra words it’s hard to worship with. It’s a big beefy bible and perfect for your lap or tabletop. It’s definitely a bible I wouldn’t read in bed, it’s too heavy and bulky.
