Show the child the material and have him bring it to the table. 2. Show the child the numbers along the top of the board. Tell the child, "These numbers tell us how many times to take a number." 3. I thought the boards would be as big as our Montessori Hundred Board but they are smaller. The quality is great! I love that the set includes instructions. I took off one star because the set was delivered in the product box with a shipping label on it and not inside an Amazon box. Therefore, the box was a little beat up and I couldn’t get the shipping label off neatly. I like to store my items in their original packaging and I would have liked to have a damage free box.
