It came packaged in a very quality cooler with dry ice. Was frozen solid when we received. Ended up thawing completely and repackaging in freezer bags in smaller quantities, and refroze. TIP: get a good carving knife. I didn't have one and wish I did. Once this sucker fully thaws, it gets pretty soft and hard to cut. Best bet would be to cut a few layers as it's partially thawing to get the strips, then repeat.
