Milligrams Matter. shocking lack of information on label... **Q: What’s the date on these?** A: Mine lists expiry date Dec. 2023. However as somebody with a doctorate in a related profession, I can tell you that this inorganic salt will not change composition (degrade) with time. It is hygroscopic (attracts water) like kitchen salt (sodium chloride) and it could clump up a bit over time. This is not the case with the bottle I have. You can buy this product with confidence that it will not change over time. I have no idea of the product purity etc, except what I can see on the label. **Q: Is it mixed with any other ingredients or is it pure potassium only?** A: These answers below are from 10 years ago. In 2023, the label lists only potassium but does NOT even list how many milligrams of potassium are in the 1/8 teaspoon dose. **Q: Is it flavored?** A: I have the plain potassium powder without iodine so I'm not sure. Mine is not flavored. It can have a little bitter taste if used excessively. I often use a salt shaker mixture of 3 parts potassium chloride to 1 part table salt, or half an half. Either potassium chloride or table salt will have a bitter taste if used in excessive, just a different bitterness.
