I have found it to work well too. Derek **Q: can you use this from the mains even if the battery is totally flat ?** A: Despite the answers in the positive, this shaver DOES NOT RUN WHEN PLUGGED INTO THE A/C. You have to charge it for 5 minutes to get a quick shave if it is flat. Alternatively, take note of the charging LED on the razor. If it flashes red when you are turning the razor off, it needs charging before the next use. **Q: can you stand in the shower and shave** A: Yes. I have used it for years to wet shave at the sink. Occasionally I use it in the shower. I find it shaves well wet with shaving foam. I would NOT recommend gel as for me it seems to block up the shaver. **Q: Does this shaver have a mains adapter** A: Yes, of course it has a mains adapter! (Ignore those who say it doesn't!!)
