## Description

The EGI hybrids are available in 8 different lofts, allowing you to replace irons with these easier to hit hybrids. Each hybrid features a nice balance of weight throughout the entire club head that increases and widens the sweet spot. The shape of the club head allows you to use these clubs from various lies, good or bad.More and more players are playing hybrids. The reason being they are more forgiving, add distance, and will improve your game instantly. We've mentioned this before, but imagine if you could take a fairway wood, shorten the shaft and change the shape ever so slightly. This is the simple anatomy of a hybrid. If you haven't tried a high lofted hybrid to help your game, it is definitely something worth considering.

Review: Just fun to hit - I bought this club because I wanted to try out a 9 wood. I have a 7 wood that is so easy to hit why not try a 9 wood? But I just couldn’t justify spending $350 at the local golf store for something Ii may not even like. So when I saw this one I jumped on it, I’ve spent more money on a bad meal. When it came, I went straight to the driving range and started smacking balls. On my first swing, I fell in love. It launches the ball so high and so easy to hit it felt like cheating. It carries for me 60 year old retiree 125 yards easy. That falls right in between my 9 iron and my 8 iron. But that’s not even the best part of it. The best part is the launch angle and height. This club just skies the ball and at its Apex it drops straight down. Now I get in trouble on the wrong side of the tree lines more times than not and I am confronted with trying to punch the ball through or go over the trees. This club goes over the trees with so little effort. But I’ve also started using it to bump and run shots around the green. I have a lot more control using this club as opposed to say a 6 or 7 iron. Honestly, I don’t know how you can go wrong. It’s well made and it’s cheap. I think you’ll be very happy with this club. I know I am.
Review: Very nice hybrid club at a very good price point - This is my first hybrid club, which I am using as a three iron / 5 wood replacement. It only took a few shots over a couple of rounds to adjust to it with very successful results. The resulting shots have been relatively long in range and very straight off the club. This is a very good club for the mid to high range handicapper and seems to be of very good quality for the price point.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Which one would replace the 3 thru 6 irons?**
A: I have the pinemeadow 7, 6, 5, 4 hybrids. I gain 5-10 yds in distance when compared to irons with the same numbers. I have a 3 iron which I still hit slightly longer than the 4 hybrid but, as a senior golfer, I have more control with the hybrid.

**Q: Do these hybrids tend to go further than the club they're replacing ?**
A: I hit my PW high and about 110 yards. I hit the hybrid high and right about 140 yards.

**Q: Can this club be extended for a tall person thats 6'6"?**
A: I am 6'8" with the wingspan of someone 7'2". You can change the shift and have the club extended. Typically the only extend up to 2 inches. Go for a golf club fitting and they will measure you with a club to see what the correct length need to be added is. Happy golfing and hit em' straight!

**Q: How do these compare to the Lazrus hybrids?**
A: I am not familiar with the Lazarus hybrid however this hybrid is as good as the calloways that I have in my bag.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Hybrid club
*by J***M on September 29, 2025*

A bit too heavy for me. Should have got a senior shaft in it, but that’s my fault not yours. All in all pretty darn good club and I would suggest to anybody to use it if they like hitting hybrids.
