Used it to carry items while we walked around parks. It only has small quirk. If you are wearing it and swing it around to open the main zipper, if you open it all the way it is pretty much impossible to get it zipped back closed while wearing the bag. It could just be the nature of sling bags. But in order to close it you have to take it off so you can pull the flap towards the zipper and zip it closed. Either that or you get used to not pulling it open all the way.
