The coat seems to go on alot smoother and does not "muddy up" the really fine details. **Q: Can this be used on aluminum?** A: I think if you etch the aluminum it will be fine. Self etching primer would be even better but it's an extra step is all if not used. Email Badger if you are still unsure, they are very good at getting back. **Q: Can I use this on leather shoes.?** A: I would not recommend this product for your intended purpose. It is acrylic, it will not flex and it will chip/crack... **Q: What is the difference between badger's snr 401 and snr 410 primers? also i need opaque, are they both?** A: 401 is white primer. 410 I think is a set of white, grey and black primers. They are opaque but especially so the darker ones. If you back lit yellow styrene with white primer on it you might get a yellow cast or glow, so prime both sides if that's a concern.
