They are very expensive for single bars, but they meet my dietary needs and don’t spike my blood sugar. I ordered these from Amazon, and they did arrive covered in oil. They are keto, so there should be a lot of oil/fat; it is necessary to compensate for low carb eating! When I contacted the company, they did say that the packaging shouldn’t be leaking, and they quickly sent me a replacement. I am a customer for life! I will say, however, that I will likely order directly from the company and not Amazon. The replacement package was wrapped in an insulating bag along with ice packs, and the outside of the bars is completely clean and oil free.
