My two dogs are both fairly young, however my parents dogs are both elderly. I bought this the first time for both sets of dogs. It's tough because I'm happy that my dogs are getting glucosamine, however my parents elderly dogs did not see any improvement in their mobility issues. My dogs do like the taste of this additive to their food, so I do like that it is a low-maintenance and easy way for my dogs to get the nutrients that they need. My only other complaint is that the pumps that these come with often dispense what I think is too much product, though I'm no expert. This isn't cheap though, so the pump producing that much just means you will have to repurchase more often. You can fix this by finding a bottle with a bump that dispenses a little less, and putting this inside of it.
