I know that there are adapters to plug 120 volts into a 240 volt plug. If you have sound-out connectors you are in business. **Q: Can someone else watch the same tv as i am if i have this headset on?** A: Yes, there are a couple of ways in which a second person can watch. If you have two SONY headsets, both of you can watch TV with only one based plugged in. The second way depends on what kind of TV that you have. With my TV (which is a Westinghouse a few years old), I can listen under the headphones with the volume on the TV turned off; but if a second person is in the room who wants to listen without the headphones, the volume on my TV can be turned to whatever level the second person wants, and they can listen that way.
