Review: Above-average product for a great price. Durable and functional. Highly Recommend. - Doesn't need much fanfare. Simple product that does what it needs to. Cut the time it takes to check my tires in half, a must have if you have leaky tires that need to be checked/filled often. PROS: - Metal handle, trigger, and chuck, feels durable and solid - Large, easy to read gauge, with a great 0-120psi range. I can't ever imagine needing to fill something up beyond 120, especially considering most home compressors only go to about 130. - Quick connect fitting included - Assuming it doesn't die in the next couple years and the gauge stays relatively accurate, this thing is a GREAT value. Does it's job with no fuss for a low price. CONS: - The mechanism it uses to clip onto the valve stem (a little claw that guillotines down and grabs the threads on the valve stem) is a little flimsy, and could use a stronger spring. It tends to force itself off the stem at higher pressures (>50psi) and needs to be held onto the stem manually. Not a big deal and it works fine at lower pressures, just could be improved. - Plastic, light-duty gauge. It has a soft rubber bumper to protect the gauge, but I would prefer a metal gauge. Then again, for $15, I can't really complain. Additionally, the gauge can be removed and replaced if you want to put on your own.
Review: Very good inflator with gauge - better than the one it replaced - I have a small pancake style compressor that I use primarily for filling tires as I have a lot of vehicles and lots of lawn equipment with inflatable tires. For a number of years I had been using a Campell Hausefield "knock off", not a genuine CH, and the clip on valve never seemed to grab quite right. Also, the gauge stopped working years ago. I was ready to bite the bullet and order an expensive CH, when I cam upon this one with good reviews. I am very happy with it. First of all, the clip seems to work pretty well. You may have to fiddle with it, or gentlay hold it on a bit with one hand, but overall good. The gauge is easy to read and due to the fact that it only goes up to 120, the PSI between lines and numbers is realistic. I have no idea why other gauges go over 200 lbs unless those are for truck tires? I check the pressure reading with a good quality digital gauge, and when this one was showing 30 PSI on tires, the digital was only showing about 27-28.... so it could be a few lbs off. I suspect they may intentionally error on the high side on these to prevent law suits from exploding tires. Overall - so far so good - I am happy.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: What are the threads on the gauge, should one wish to replace it later?**
A: I think its M8 (fine pitch). I wanted to replace the gauge on mine so I pulled it off and realized it's not 1/8 npt. It's not tapered and major diameter is about .315, so I'm looking to get an inflator with a 1/4 not gauge port (for better accuracy at 32 psi).

**Q: Can this be used as tire deflator if you hook it up and pull trigger without the air compressor attached? For airing down tires to drive off road**
A: Just push the button on the side if you overfill to let some air out. Hose can still be attached and pressurized.

**Q: The guage won't go back to 0. It stays at 20 psi. Is there a way to zero it? When using it, the tire psi will be at 30 but the guage says 50.**
A: Mines doing the same. 12-20psi when not connected. It's used on a 125psi compressor and where I live it never freezes.

**Q: Can you send me a glass gauge cover?**
A: Not at all, once you have the right size compressor for the job.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very good inflator with gauge - better than the one it replaced

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Simplifies filling and adjusting pressure
*by H***7 on September 4, 2019*

Got this to make checking / adjusting the tires on our RV easier before hitting the road. The actual pressure reading is important to me but more important is having every tire consistent. I haven't verified the accuracy formally but it seems to be close enough for my needs. The bit that goes over the valve stem is a little finicky, I haven't quite gotten the technique down yet to get it to seat correctly the first time but once you get it on there things become very straightforward. The ability to add air, check pressure, and bleed air off if needed is exactly what I was looking for! UPDATE 9/22/19: The light in my Jeep came on for low tire pressure so I grabbed this and my compressor and aired up to the proper pressure (they were all showing about 5psi low). That went smoothly but the light didn't deactivate. I initially figured oh well, normal TPMS stuff, I'll give it a few days. The light still didn't go off so I'm thinking okay, maybe one of the monitors is dead, oh well. Then, last week I was at the shop for a SMOG check and they touched up pressure in all 5 wheels (spare has TMPS) and the light went off so today I figured I'd hook up the gauge just to see how the readings differ. Presuming the shop followed the door tag and aired me up to 35 this gauge reads 38. It's not a huge difference but it is enough to make TMPS angry and not shut off the light. I'm hoping that the 3psi error is linear so I can just compensate for it but when we're talking about 100 psi truck tires on my RV I'd like to be as accurate as possible. Still a great product but it's probably worth checking your gauge and trying to quantify the error if there is any.
