I mix with reetha powder and leave the paste on my oiled hair for 5 minutes. It is very drying so my next step is to apply conditioner while the paste is still on my hair and apply water and detangle slowly. Then I rinse everything of while scrubbing my scalp with shampoo brush or my fingertips. This way my hair doesn't feel very dry. I then use a leave in conditioner on my clean wet hair and comb through and style it in the shower itself so that hair stays moisturized for up to 3 days till the next wash.
