Review: Great ingredients and all my cats like it. - I have six cats and I've been trying to get them on a higher quality food. Had been feeding Iams but they keep messing with the products and my cats got quite picky with it. Plus the Iams ingredients were never that great. I tried one brand that was high in soy and found that one of my cats was very allergic to soy. Was scratching so much he had patches of hair missing and scabs. None of my cats will eat Blue Buffalo at all which was surprising since at least two of them will eat most anything. I was ready to give up but then found Nulo. Surprise all six of the cats love the stuff! This was a tough issue to work through because just about any of the higher quality food would end up with half liking it and the other half will not even nibble on it. So Nulo really solved the problem for me. They all appear to be thriving in it. My only wish is that the kibble size was a little larger. Most of my guys like to crunch on something and they seem to be eating a lot of the Nulo by just swallowing it whole. Review: We Love Nulo - After searching for countless hours for a food with ingredients I feel comfortable feeding to my cat, I found Nulo. I can’t tell if my cat loves it or tolerates it, but he eats it no problem. He is 12 pounds and is fed 1/4 cup in the morning and 1/4 cup at night, but grazes throughout the day. I’m satisfied with his weight and he has maintained very good checkups at the vet. The kibbles are really small, which doesn’t bother me but my friend doesn’t like it because the food kinda falls out of her cats mouth (???) Overall, good food if you want to feed your cat something without trash like wheat, rice, soy, corn, or potatoes. High protein, lower carb, better food. Healthy cat. ## Features - GRAIN-FREE recipe contains no corn; wheat; soy; white potatoes; tapioca; artificial colors, flavorings or preservatives. Based in Austin, TX and proudly made in the USA. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00NRBB4XG | | Additional Features | Grain-Free, BC30 Probiotic | | Age Range (Description) | Adult | | Age Range Description | Adult | | Allergen Information | Abalone Free | | Animal Food Diet Type | Veterinary Diet | | Animal Food Ingredient Claim | No Artificial Colors | | Animal Food Nutrient Content Claim | High Protein | | Best Sellers Rank | #178,478 in Pet Supplies ( See Top 100 in Pet Supplies ) #985 in Dry Cat Food | | Brand | Nulo | | Brand Name | Nulo | | Breed Recommendation | All Breed Sizes | | Container Type | Bag | | Customer Reviews | 4.7 out of 5 stars 947 Reviews | | Dog Breed Size | All | | Flavor | Chicken | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00811939020157 | | Item Form | Dry | | Item Type Name | Freestyle Cat/Kitten Dry Cat Food | | Item Weight | 16 ounces | | Manufacturer | Nulo Pet Food, Inc. | | Manufacturer Part Number | Cat & Kitten Chicken & Cod | | Model Number | Cat & Kitten Chicken & Cod | | Number of Items | 1 | | Occasion | Birthday | | Package Size Name | 5 lb | | Pet Type | Cat | | Product Benefits | Supports weight management and overall health | | Recommended Uses For Product | Cat care, Everyday use, Active lifestyle | | Special Ingredients | grain-free | | Specific Uses For Product | Active | | Target Species | Cat | | UPC | 811939020157 | | Unit Count | 80 Ounce | | Warranty Description | As Labeled | ## Product Details - **Age Range (Description):** Adult - **Brand:** Nulo - **Flavor:** Chicken - **Item Form:** Dry - **Specific Uses For Product:** Active ## Images ![Nulo Adult & Kitten Grain Free Dry Cat Food With Bc30 Probiotic (Chicken, 5Lb Bag) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71SnqxeVRBL.jpg) ![Nulo Adult & Kitten Grain Free Dry Cat Food With Bc30 Probiotic (Chicken, 5Lb Bag) - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71mKSjbjUWL.jpg) ![Nulo Adult & Kitten Grain Free Dry Cat Food With Bc30 Probiotic (Chicken, 5Lb Bag) - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/6137Ky0oX2L.jpg) ![Nulo Adult & Kitten Grain Free Dry Cat Food With Bc30 Probiotic (Chicken, 5Lb Bag) - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41fkTos-mrS.jpg) ![Nulo Adult & Kitten Grain Free Dry Cat Food With Bc30 Probiotic (Chicken, 5Lb Bag) - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41rQSFpLcmS.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size, Flavor** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: Does anyone know the "guaranteed analysis" for the amount of protein, fat, and fiber content?** A: Why do people respond with non-answers? You should be able to find the ingredients in the listing, or on the Nulo website. Sorry! **Q: How is ganedenbc30 made? how artificial is it? i know it's a special patented form of probiotic, so i don't need that surface answer.** A: GanedenBC30 is a natural probiotic supplement used in more than 1,000 human foods and beverage as well as companion animal products around the world, and holds several certifications including being generally recognized as safe (GRAS) by the FDA, Kosher and Halal certified, Non-GMO Project verified, vegan, gluten-free and allergen-free. GanedenBC30 is made by growing a patented strain of Bacillus coagulans (GBI-30, 6086) on a medium that's specially designed to provide an optimal environment (pH, nutrients, and temperature) for growth. After the endospores (seed-like structures) are formed, they're separated from the medium, then purified and dried. The spores remain dormant until they are ingested and reach the small intestine, where they begin growing and produce active cells that support digestive and immune health. GanedenBC30 is particularly unique due to its guaranteed viability - most other probiotics are unable to survive even the cooking process and shelf-life of foods, whereas GanedenBC30 survives through even the extreme gastric environment of pets. **Q: Can you please tell me about the amount of carbs in this food? I am looking for and extremely low carb count, kibble for my diabetic cat.** A: This recipe is our lowest-carb dry cat food at 19.51% carbohydrates (NFE) on an as-fed basis! This value represents the typical (average) analysis of our finished product. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great ingredients and all my cats like it. *by N***R on June 12, 2019* I have six cats and I've been trying to get them on a higher quality food. Healthy cat. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wonderful choice!!! *by H***K on February 1, 2020* My cats Sam and Dean(They are brothers) love this food and we have given it to them since we brought them home. We love it because we are able to feed it to our older cat Gemini as well, without worrying about it lacking in nutritional needs for young and old cats. All of their coats are super shiny and the all have more energy. My 11 year old cat usually can't eat wet food without tummy issues but she loves it and her tummy does too! We alternate the Nulu Cat and Kitten wet and dry food.
