Its innovative protein-encapsulated DEET formula releases active ingredients slowly, reducing skin absorption by 67%, while remaining odorless, non-greasy, and sweat-proof. Designed for family use and compatible with sunscreen, this twin-pack of 6-ounce bottles delivers reliable, long-lasting insect defense for every outdoor occasion. ## Description Odorless, non-greasy, and sweat resistant, Sawyer Premium Family Insect Repellent Controlled Release is effective against ticks and all mosquitoes. This family-friendly 20 percent DEET formula significantly reduces the rate of DEET absorption by 67 percent per application, and it extends the duration of its effectiveness up to 11 hours. Comfortable for use in the backcountry or in the backyard, this EPA-approved formula controls DEET exposure by encapsulating DEET in a protein that dissolves slowly, releasing the DEET over a longer period of time. It's designed to be compatible with the use of sunscreen, and it can be used in conjunction with Sawyer Permethrin insect repellent clothing treatment for double protection. Sawyer Products has offered the best, most technologically advanced solutions for protection against sun, bugs, water, and injuries – everything from first aid kits developed for wilderness to point-of-use water filters that filter contaminated water to levels cleaner than U. S. bottled water. ## Features - Family-friendly insect repellent formula with 20% DEET; effective against ticks and all mosquitoes - Encapsulates DEET in a protein that dissolves slowly, releasing DEET over a longer period of time -- up to 11 hours - Non-greasy, odorless, and sweat-proof - Designed to be compatible with the use of sunscreen - Twin pack of 6-ounce lotion bottles ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B07BS43L6S | | ASIN | B07BS43L6S | | Best Sellers Rank | #112,706 in Health ( See Top 100 in Health ) #165 in Insect & Pest Repellent Body Sprays | | Brand Name | Sawyer | | Customer Reviews | 4.5 4.5 out of 5 stars (228) | | Customer reviews | 4.5 4.5 out of 5 stars (228) | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00050716052923 | | Item Form | Lotion | | Item Volume | 6 Fluid Ounces | | Item model number | SP5292 | | Manufacturer | Sawyer Products | | Manufacturer | Sawyer Products | | Manufacturer Part Number | SP5292 | | Model Number | SP5292 | | Number of Items | 2 | | Product Dimensions | 3.51 x 7.95 x 21.44 cm; 410 g | | Scent Name | Unscented | | Size | 6 Fl Oz (Pack of 2) | | UPC | 050716052923 | | Unit Count | 12 Fluid Ounces | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Sawyer - **Item form:** Lotion - **Item volume:** 6 Fluid Ounces - **Number of Items:** 2 - **Scent:** Unscented ## Images ![Sawyer Products SP5292 Controlled Release Family Insect Repellent, Lotion, Twin Pack, 6-Ounce - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71VAZTv1AtL.jpg) ## Frequently Bought Together - Sawyer Products 20% DEET Premium Family Insect Repellent Controlled Release - Sawyer Products SP657 Premium Permethrin Insect Repellent for Clothing, Gear & Tents, Trigger Spray, 24-Ounce - Repel 100 Insect Repellent, Pump Spray, 4-Fluid Ounces, 10-Hour Protection --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/290457468-sawyer-products-sp5292-controlled-release-family-insect-repellent-lotion-twin](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/290457468-sawyer-products-sp5292-controlled-release-family-insect-repellent-lotion-twin) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-21*
