## Questions & Answers

**Q: Is this approved for eating?  I don't see anything on the label as if it is a food product ... Why doesn't the bottle have a nutritional facts label?**
A: This is a food based spray used for coating waffle makers before adding the batter.  It's a great product that some of the major hotel chains also use.  I've been using it since I discovered it at one of them.

**Q: What are the ingredients? And is silicone edible if it's among them?**
A: Water, silicone, polysorbate 80, propylene glycol, ethyl and propyl paraben (preservative), sodium benzoate (preservative), sodium lauryl sulfate.

**Q: Is this a spray to be used with each waffle or is it more of a maintenance type product?**
A: You don’t use it for each waffle. As a matter of fact, I got my a$$ handed to me by a very grouchy hotel employee who said THEY spray it on only three times during the whole breakfast service. I never use it when at a hotel, and it never had a waffle stick.

**Q: Does this spray expire?**
A: It has an expiration date 2 years out.  It did NOT work for me on a new waffle iron or my old waffle iron.  It made a mess of both waffle makers.  I went back to using corn oil spray.  I feel ripped off by the price for a product that did not work.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Same as what major hotels used and no more stuck waffles!

This works, and it's used at the major hotel chains. You must start off with a CLEAN waffle in VERY GOOD condition. If you have scraped off or scrubbed out your iron, you have probably ruined your iron, so get a new one. Make sure the waffle iron is clean first. Then, get it hot - ready to cook. Spray each surface once or twice for the first waffle and then once before every waffle after that. You need to make sure the spray gets the ENTIRE cook surface. I saw a pic from someone else with a BIG rectangular iron with one cornet stuck, probably didn't get any spray in that corner. The instructions may say not to, but after years of using this and the ones at hotels, etc I've found hat one hit on each surface before each waffle = no stuck waffles. If you are only doing 2 or 3 total, then you probably don't need to respray before each one, but if you have a big bunch of wafflers, then hit it each time. You'll eventually get the distance so that one spray gets the entire waffle iron surface. Usually a water soaked cloth clean up is all that's needed afterwards.
