They seem like a good idea. Maybe try another manufacturer. **Q: What is the max rpm that pad can handle?** A: Most die grinders spin at 20,000 rpm which is around what mine spins at and they are fine at that speed. **Q: what are the grits?** A: They come in different colors, and I honestly couldn't tell what grit they were. They didn't work worth a damn, on wood or metal. I bought some 3M brand to use on the holder and they worked much better.
