I have thick wavy hair, and they helped me to trim the length with ease. The only thing I'm disappointed in is that the corners of the blades are rounded. You can kind of tell if you look closely in the pictures. This makes it a little harder in terms of precision. I like to thin out areas of my hair by selectively trimming small pieces, and it's much easier to do when the scissors are pointy. Anyway, I'm going to keep them and keep using them, because they're very sharp, a nice size, and good value for the money.
