The NANOWEB coating works wonders for not obliterating my poor fingertips while playing and keeps my guitar's hearty, deep tone singing out. I would 100% recommend these strings for beginners, intermediate, or even advanced players. I find personally that they aren't so soft that your calluses will slowly disappear, but rather just maintains your fingers as is, while you continue to play. Sliding is super easy with these strings, once again due to the coating that Elixir puts on these things, and bends work just as well. As for longevity, one set of these strings lasted me exactly 1 year of usage (Got them on christmas day 2022, one string snapped christmas day 2023) For a 3 pack, I simply just grabbed the box, and restrung a new set. I would consider that a worthy investment, and was not disappointed by their durability whatsoever.
