It was SO MUCH FUN to watch them wake up and crawl out and around and all over the little house. We noticed that, for several days, some returned to the little house. Once they were all dispersed, the crickets moved in, so we moved the Lady Bug home to the back yard, and are going to mount it near the garden for our early 2021 spring Lady Bug release. The little house is very sturdy, and exactly what we needed to contain our grandchildren's excitement during the release - without this wonderful product, the boys typically try to pick up the lady bugs or pour them on the ground and end up stepping on them. This was DEFINITELY the better way. Now that the house is no longer on the ground, no other insects have tried to move in. HOWEVER, about 3-4 weeks after release, following moving it to the back yard, we noticed a few lady bugs have been IN or ON the little house. It's been so much fun!
