The driver software is free tho. Yea! **Q: Can I use this to flash a custom tune to my ecm 2014 silverado 5.3?** A: Unfortunately, the answer is no. You need a more expensive AVT based interface to flash an ECU. This unit is designed to work with scan tools to log data and clear trouble codes. **Q: Can this work on a linux OS?** A: Depends on the diagnostic software. This is just the USB diagnostic adapter. I suggest you check the BBfly website. **Q: will this work with the TuneEcu software?** A: It should.
