I have two standard poodles, and grooming them is a JOB! These are very sharp for easy cutting and comfortable to grip and use. They have a nice balance and weight and seem very well made. Good scissors make a world of difference in getting the job done. The case is very nice and keeps all the shears in one place and well protected. I got the black ones because they were the overnight delivery. The only thing I would have done differently is to get the shiny blue ones. I groom the dogs outside when the weather is nice, and I dropped one of the scissors in the grass and had a hard time finding it. I think the shiny one would have been a bit easier to see.
