It features an automatic latching system that locks securely with the tailgate, offers 100% bed access without obstructing the 3rd brake light, and supports up to 400 lbs of evenly distributed weight. With enhanced perimeter seals, dual drain tubes, and a durable matte finish that resists UV damage and scratches, the MX4 combines premium aesthetics with rugged functionality. Installation is straightforward with QR code instructions, and the product is backed by a 5-year warranty and US-based customer support. ## Description The BAKFlip MX4 was the first matte-finished, hard folding cover to market, becoming America’s #1 Selling Hard Folding Cover in just a few years. Simply put, the MX4 just looks better than other covers. Its sleek no-profile appearance allows you to maintain the appearance of your truck, while enabling you to securely stow cargo in the bed. The MX4’s pioneering, textured matte-finish adds a premium look and feel while also protecting against UV damage, annoying finger print marks, and scratches. MX4 has everything you expect from a premium cover. The engineers at BAK Industries fine-tuned even the smallest elements of the cover, down to adding cab corner caps and rail-end cap, to extending a matte-finish throughout the cover’s side rails, clamps, and elevator bolts. The MX4’s integrated buckle system and automatic latching mechanism allows you to drive with the cover partially or fully opened without covering the 3rd brake light. For 100% bed access, simply unlock the cover from either side via its pull latches and fold the cover all the way up against the cab. From there, you can prop the cover in place by tightening two rods into the underside of the panel. For enhanced durability, the MX4 also features pre-molded, shock-absorbent bumpers on either side of the panel, protecting the folded panels from hitting the cover during turbulent driving. Rain or shine, the MX4 provides confident cargo storage that’s complete with dual drain tubes to divert water away from the truck bed, as well as full perimeter seals to help protect against water intrusion. Review: Perfect fit, looks great - Installed in about 45 minutes, looks great. Nice and flat. Locks down with the tailgate up or down. Great investment. Review: Real truck makes a really great product - This is a great product and relatively easy to install even for someone with limited mechanical knowledge. The instructions are on a QR code and a 15 minute instruction video will help tremendously with the install. It took me about 1 hour and I had supervision and help but did most of the install by myself. It was expensive, however, I know it will save the truck bed. It is water tight and does not leak. Easy to fold, each section has a cable to pull, gently!!! So far, so good! ## Features - Fits 2015 - 2020 Ford F-150 5' 7" Bed (67.1") - ULTIMATE SECURITY | The BAKFlip MX4 tonneau cover has durable aluminum panels that automatically latch as the cover is partially or fully closed, and is fully locked once your tailgate is closed - STYLISH MATTE FINISH | Featuring matte-finished aluminum panels, protecting against marks, scratches and UV damage; as well as premium upgrades to the perimeter seals and hardware - 100% BED ACCESS | Operate this cover closed, folded or flipped up, all without covering the 3rd brake light.
