A fiberglass screen crafted to block up to 75% of the sun's rays entering a building. Reduces air conditioning cost and prevents fading of furniture and carpets indoors. Perfect for sun exposed patios, decks, sliding doors and windows. Review: I’m very happy with this product because it is durable, easy to work with and it does exactly what it says it will. I had this put on two large south facing windows and when the sun is on them, the windows are cool, even when it is 95 degrees outside. It also provides a good measure of privacy. You can’t see through it well from the outside but you can see out from the inside perfectly well. Definitely a good value for the money. I have an orange screen door and this is just too black? too halloweeny** A: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000LNO7DW?ref=myi_title_dp--this one is grey, not sure it's what you want though **Q: Will this work for 48 inch by 80 inch patio screen door?** A: What size did you buy? Is my question to you. But, I will add here, you need at least 2'" over lap of the screen channel-that's where the cord is that holds the screen in the frame. I say 2" because you want to grip onto the screen when you are putting it into the frame to be secured. You will cut the excess off later. **Q: Is this have privacy during the day** A: Yes, very much so. I live in Arizona. The valley of the sun, and have the screen up on my security door. From outside, I could not see into the house unless I pressed my face up against the screen. It's great keeping gnats, sunlight and nosey neighbors out. **Q: Which side of the screen goes on the outside towards the sun ??** A: Both sides are the same. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review *by C***. on 8 July 2025* I’m very happy with this product because it is durable, easy to work with and it does exactly what it says it will.
