The holes are on a horizontal planting shelf.** A: I would recommend firestone primer, seam tape and cover tape instead for the right way to patch holes in 45 mil epdm rubber. **Q: use on concrete?** A: We wouldn’t recommend it. The silicone is for sealing liner to faceplates with screws and any plumbing parts that are threaded and might need extra sealing. It can also be used in place of Teflon tape. No leak from threads** A: I have a 3500 Gallon Koi Pond and it sealed a couple of leaks I had in my liner very well. I was losing about 6 inches of water a day and once I found the tears in my liner I applied the sealant around the tear and pushed it into place. It has bee holding water without leaking for several weeks now so I'm thinking yes, it will hold in your application. It goes on very wet but seals to a hard surface. I used it around a leaky waterfall feature. It went on easily using a caulk gun and remained very flexible once it cured after 30 minutes. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Used it to patch a (black) rubber pond liner *by S***N on 6 June 2019* This was a simple/effective solution I needed for a hole in our large-ish (former koi) pond liner. There was a V-shaped tear in the liner on one of the upright "walls" of the multi-tiered pond, -and- the wall was wrinkled there - tricky. (Had to first use vinegar to get rid of white lime crusted onto the rubber from our hard water.) I had no rubber to use as a patch, so I cut a piece of fiberglass window screen mesh that was a little bigger than the torn area... First I daubed some of the adhesive onto the tear lines, enough to let it skush underneath a bit too; then pressed the screen patch onto this - and it held there nicely; then smeared a bit more over the rest of the patch to get it to stick to the full surface of the patch area, and let this dry overnight. (The window screen mesh was perfect to use, since it conformed to the waviness of the wrinkly rubber.) Next day I used a stiff piece of plastic (cut from a square plant pot) to -completely- cover the patch and its edges; waited another day (warm) before filling the pond...
