Review: EASY SETUP EXCELLENT RADIO RECEIVER - I got this SiriusXM Onyx EZR radio so I could listen to my favorite music channels over my Bose Wave radio. Set up instructions were easy to follow. Selecting the right location for the antenna is the most important step. It wants you to put it in a South facing window with no blinds. As you can see from my pictures, that’s not necessary. Mine is pointing South and receiving a 95-100 % signal, (3) bars, through the wall. Once everything was connected I turned both the radio and Bose Wave on and verified I was receiving the SiriusXM radio advertisement channel. After that is when I contacted a rep via chat on their website and selected a plan. Since I already have an account associated with my car, it was very easy to get listening. This is a great radio receiver and I am amazed at how easy everything was. SiriusXM requires a paid subscription for those that might not be aware. Review: Enjoy it - This device is wonderful. We struggled a wee bit with customer service but figured it all out. ## Features - Item Category: Radio - Item Trademark: SiriusXM - manufacturer: SiriusXM ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B06XSWKGZP | | Additional Features | Portable | | Audio Output Mode | Stereo | | Brand | SiriusXM | | Built-In Media | 3' stereo audio cable, Home dock, Indoor/outdoor home antenna, Power Adapter, Remote control, XM Onyx EZR Satellite Radio Receiver | | Color | SiriusXM SXEZR1H1 XM | | Colour | SiriusXM SXEZR1H1 XM | | Compatible Devices | Speaker, Headphone, MP3 Player, Earphone, Laptop | | Connectivity Technology | Auxiliary | | Connectivity technology | Auxiliary | | Customer Reviews | 4.3 out of 5 stars 1,254 Reviews | | Display Technology | LCD | | Display Type | LCD | | Enclosure Material | Plastic | | Frequency | 108 MHz | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00884720013539 | | Hardware Interface | 3.5mm Audio | | Item Dimensions L x W x H | 21.3L x 17.8W x 7.6H centimeters | | Item Type Name | SiriusXM SXEZR1H1 Onyx EZR Satellite Radio with Home Kit - Get 3 Months Free Service with subscription | | Item Weight | 590 g | | Manufacturer | SiriusXM | | Mfr Part Number | SXEZR1H1 | | Model Number | SXEZR1H1 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Power Source | Corded Electric | | Product dimensions | 21.3L x 17.8W x 7.6H centimeters | | Radio Bands Supported | 1-Band | | Special features | Portable | | Style Name | Satellite Radio + Home Kit | | Tuner Type | Satellite | | Tuner technology | Satellite | | UPC | 884720013539 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Voltage | 12 Volts | | Water Resistance Level | Water Resistant | ## Product Details - **Brand:** SiriusXM - **Colour:** SiriusXM SXEZR1H1 XM - **Connectivity technology:** Auxiliary - **Product dimensions:** 21.3L x 17.8W x 7.6H centimeters - **Special features:** Portable ## Images ![SiriusXM SXEZR1H1 Onyx EZR Satellite Radio with Home Kit - Hear SiriusXM on Your Home Stereo or Powered Speakers - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61CSD7w0lrL.jpg) ![SiriusXM SXEZR1H1 Onyx EZR Satellite Radio with Home Kit - Hear SiriusXM on Your Home Stereo or Powered Speakers - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71Y2PoaBoiL.jpg) ![SiriusXM SXEZR1H1 Onyx EZR Satellite Radio with Home Kit - Hear SiriusXM on Your Home Stereo or Powered Speakers - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71RIkRihWCL.jpg) ![SiriusXM SXEZR1H1 Onyx EZR Satellite Radio with Home Kit - Hear SiriusXM on Your Home Stereo or Powered Speakers - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71qNsiaUAAL.jpg) ![SiriusXM SXEZR1H1 Onyx EZR Satellite Radio with Home Kit - Hear SiriusXM on Your Home Stereo or Powered Speakers - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71nW3QVQacL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: Does this kit have built in speakers, or does it need external speakers? Thanks** A: Needs speakers. My husband installed it in his big truck using existing speakers. Works great! **Q: Does my car sirius subscription cover me on this device or do I need a separate subscription?** A: According to Sirius u need a separate subscription or they can transfer ur current subscription to the new radio. Hope this helps **Q: Why is the vehicle kit cheaper than the home kit?** A: No amplifier **Q: I bought the home kit thinking i would be able to plug it in to my portable radio. i can't. is there any way i can trick it into broadcasting to fm?** A: The unit should be broadcasting on FM unless you plug in an audio cable, then it will disable the FM broadcast. Refer to the user manual, starting on page 19 for FM mode. You might need a audio 1/8 inch male to male cable to connect to your portable radio if not in FM broadcast mode. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ EASY SETUP EXCELLENT RADIO RECEIVER *by G***. on 16 February 2026* I got this SiriusXM Onyx EZR radio so I could listen to my favorite music channels over my Bose Wave radio.
