Price is pretty good for what you get IMO, i do like the looks and the touch screen function and really LOVE being able to turn off the alert beeping sound/noise just by touching screen S/S square! The 3yrs plus old thermometer i had, nor the taylor thermometer i bought recently to replace it (crappy built brand!), had that option so this was a nice bonus to me.now i do like this here thermometer a lot better than the others but, unfortunately this one is not accurate! one probe reads boiling water at 214 & the other jumps between 214-215, boiling water should read at 212 max so these probes (or at least ones i got) are off by 2-3 degrees. Since i really like the unit and the nice long metal probes, i think it's still worth keeping and dealing with having to remember to add or minus 2 when i use it..also the small magnets are not strong enough to keep unit in place, it slides down fridge/etc BUT, this is a common occurence with most of these types of thermometers so no big deal, i just put a flat strip magnet under it and it keeps it from sliding down. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very good thermometer! *by S***E on Reviewed in the United States on November 2, 2016* Great customer service!. I'm not sure if it was something I did or an issue with the probe but 1 of the 2 probes that came with the thermometer was not functioning properly. They sent me 2 replacements with no questions asked as well as a list of things to prevent the issue in the future. I've had the thermometer for a few months now and use it at least twice a week and all 3 of my probes are functioning properly. The buttons on the back are well made and the touch screen to toggle through the different meat types is responsive. Back light on the display stays on for nearly 10 seconds if you like to cook outside at night. Runs on AAA batteries instead of button batteries which is nice. Only knock that I can find is that the 2 magnets on the back on not strong enough to hold the unit on the side of my refrigerator. I store mine in a drawer so no big whoop. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good until a strange glitch... *by D***Y on Reviewed in the United States on March 19, 2017* My unit became very inaccurate all of a sudden (reading 117 F when the temperature was 67). Taking out the batteries and putting them back in a day later seemed to fix the problem. Fortunately, in the meantime, I had another thermometer (different company) that used the very same probes, so I was still able to get some use out the probes.
