I was using it is in atomizer. I opened the package and the bottle's label was damp and oily and the cap looked as though it wasn't screwed on properly. The seal wasn't broken so it its still a new bottle. I think there may have been a mishap in the factory. The cap will not screw on right, it always looks uneven. Hopefully I'll be able to get a replacement cap.Once I did get past the cap issue i no longer smelled just fennel...it smelled like a mix of root beer and black licorice(fennel). I didn't really want that smell in a diffuser so i made a cleaner with it and mixed it with tea tree oil.
