That is exactly what I bought these four! I will also add that going behind these erasers with a microfiber cloth on painted chalkboard wall cleans them beautifully. **Q: Do these work with chalkboard painted surfaces?** A: Yes, they do! We have a chalkboard painted surface and it works like it should! **Q: will this also work on a white board?** A: I tested this out on our magnetic whiteboard on our fridge and, although it worked, it left traces of a smudge that another eraser specifically designed for whiteboards would not do.
