To my surprise, all but one child responded very well to the board game and the sound effects we made up for certain parts as the we played. I work mostly with boys who do not like to answer questions or talk about themselves, but were able to do so by using this game.Yes, the cards are not laminated. No, the game does not come with a box. However, it does come with plastic bags to hold each, and if you needed to keep them pristine, you could get them laminated. For now, I am happy to use them in the condition they are in. On top of that, the board is made from the paper that is laminated. It looks like someone made a poor copy of the original game. If it is the case, than the copy rights have been broken. For such a poor, "home made" product the price is too high...It does not look professional and I am very disappointed because of that. I am sorry.... In the twenty first century you could do better, unless you really do not care about people and you show them your middle finger. If this is the case, why do you sell and maybe create "therapeutic" materials? Just for the MONEY?
