**Q: What is the fabric used for these bags? I understand it is non woven but I would like the name**
A: It's like a tyvek mesh.

**Q: I have a bunch of south facing windows in my house.  Can I put these straight on the floor without fear of leakage or do I need a saucer underneath?**
A: The point of the fabric is to drain.  Potatoes will rot sitting in over moist soil.  A saucer would guarantee rot.  These are meant for outdoors not inside your home.

**Q: What’s the point of the flap? Seems it would be harder to try and pull the potatoes out of that than just dumping it out the traditional way?**
A: I agree with you. When I opened the flap I just saw dirt and no potatoes. When you touch the dirt to poke around to find a potato the dirt just falls out. I don't get it the idea either. I haven't bought any more with the flap. Just bags with no flap work fine.

**Q: What have people grown  in them other than potatoes?**
A: I am using mine for corn, 3 per bag. 4 bags of Ruby Red and 4 bags of Sugar Buns (both sweet enhanced.) Corn can get long roots! When the corn is done, then I will use all 12 bags for the Red Pontiac/German Butterball (indeterminate, hilling type) potatoes, 2-3 seeds per bag, for a late fall harvest. Any garden veggie can be grown in these, don't have to fill them up all the way with dirt if don't need, just fold excess bag down.
