This set is just ok, I think the blue velour covering isn't the best choice for something that will be packed in a suitcase, handled a lot and used on different surfaces. The velour will show all the wear to the fabric and imprints of any scratches or moisture. The two halves when opened do not lay flat. Plus, the two halves aren't even on the same level, one is slightly higher due to the uneven construction of the cloth hinge. So, the case doesn't lay flat and one side sits higher, so even if it did lay flat, one side would still be higher than the other, and not stable on the table, lap or airline tray. Magnets are ok while playing, but not strong enough to keep your game in place if you close it up to continue later.
