I solved the problem by ordering little sticky plastic feet for the laptop, which stopped it from sliding. If you wish to check this out and be prepared, you will be happy. So I was very excited when it arrived this morning just in time for me to start working from home, which was earlier than expected. After opening the box, I was even happier to see the adorable design and high quality of the product. The desk part itself seems incredibly sturdy for being so lightweight and appears as though it will easily outlive my last lap desk, and the design is 100x more aesthetically appealing. I like the cushion portion of this item as well because it seems relatively easy to keep the weight evenly distributed so the actual desk portion doesn't get overloaded on one side from my laptop. Overall, even though I've just received the product I feel it is a great value compared to other lap desks I've bought and browsed.
