**Q: How tall is bench?**
A: Under product description on Amazon it lists: 21.5 x 13.1 x 17.4 inches. The seat is about 17"  high from bottom of shower stall.

**Q: Is this seat open underneath or is the botton solid?**
A: This shower seat is a 2-molded seat. The bottom part is one piece and the flat seat part at top is the other mold. The molded bottom is not open, however it is hollow. By design, it is a very sturdy seat.

**Q: One of the options for buying the seat is an Expert Assembly for $95.95. What assembly is required, an how difficult can it be?**
A: I  love this shower seat.  Stylish, sturdy.  I do not understand what would be the expert assembly as it is all in one piece as delivered to me?

**Q: Does the seat collect water, or does water run off it?**
A: It collects water so I leave it tipped against the side of the shower.

I had to purchase bath stools every few years because metal parts got rusty and screws punched through the plastic seat.  Water got trapped inside which would drip long after I was finished taking a shower.  They were unsafe as well as unsanitary.I finally decided shelling out money for stools which didn't last was a waste and began looking for something more durable.This stool is perfect.  The height and width are just right, there are no parts to rust, it is white, stable and very safe and looks nice in my shower.  It is more expensive but will save me money in the long run.
