I had been using an adapter like this one to connect my USB DAC to my 2.1 speaker system. One day, I didn't have any sound. I tried fiddling with the connections and got bupkis. Thinking the DAC was bad, I bought another one. After a short while, it also started acting up. The 3.2mm connector on the adapter felt a bit loose in the DAC so I ordered these (I needed only one but, at the time, this two pack was the cheapest available that got good reviews).Not only did the new adapter work well with the new DAC, for giggles, I tried the old one and it also works just fine now.

I needed to plug my turntable into a Sonos speaker, which required an adapter from the turntable's 2 male RCA connector output into the Sonos 3.5mm female input. I noticed when I plugged in the turntable's RCA connectors, they fit together firmly. Also, the adapter's 3.5mm male plugged into the Sonos input firmly. The sound quality is great. I would highly recommend this adapter.

I have purchased a dozen adapters, converters, plugs, and jacks in the 3.5mm 'stereo' format. MOST of them don't work well. This item is not an exception. Maybe the problem is there IS NO specification for the connection or no one pays any attention to it if there is one?The most common issue is one channel that becomes intermittent. In this case the left channel quit almost immediately. It (the left channel) would maybe come back with a re-insertion of the adapter, but not always. The jack it was put into is a new device, the jack on it never having been used, so age and wear seem unlikely problems. By feel, it seemed the adapter was not going in far enough, that the tip connector (could be either right or left channel depending on how it was put together) was not making solid contact.This adapter has a solid ring at the base of the pin. I filed that ring down to the plastic housing. That seemed to resolve my left channel dropping out.Again..this tip connection failure is prevalent. The 3.5mm (NOT to be confused with a 1/8" connector) is far from robust. It is not going to stand up to severe use/abuse, yanking/pulling or stress. Also, the left channel failure in this case could as easily be the jack as the plug. Generally, the jack is not easily serviceable. Whether it is a jack or plug issue, just the bit of 'lengthening' that results from removing the .020" or so of metal at the base of the plug seemed to resolve the drop-out problem.Yes, both jack and plug were cleaned with deoxit in an attempt to resolve the channel dropout. Didn't help.

I order this for my sound bar because, my tv doesn't have optic plug on it. My speaker goes out sometimes. The sound bar I ordered from Amazon is to make sound come back. And, it works.

Like that this product comes in a durable plastic case rather than a cable. Connection to my Bluetooth transmitter/receiver is good and tight as are the RCA cable connections . Sound quality is great. Great value, since they come in a two-pack.

I purchase this adapter to connect my Sennheiser wireless headphones to my LG OLED TV. It works, but it does not make a solid connection - you have to "play" with the adapter - turning it - to get a solid connection.I don't know if the problem is with the LG TV or the adapter. I did get it to work so I gave it 3 stars.
